Carew History

Carew International was founded in 1976 by Jack Carew, author of two national best sellers on sales excellence and a widely recognized leader in the sales and business community. Armed with extensive sales and business experience, Carew sought the expertise of human resource and psychology professionals to develop a comprehensive and results-oriented sales training and development program. The result was Carew’s flagship program, Dimensions of Professional Selling (DPS).

Integrating business-tested interpersonal skills with proven sales skills that deliver bottom-line results proved to be a winning formula. Sales professionals and managers experienced unparalleled success with implementation of DPS, and Carew International was immediately launched to a leadership position among sales training providers.

True to the Carew vision of creating outstanding sales professionals and leaders, the company continued to introduce innovative programs that pushed new boundaries in creating world class professionals. Carew International’s thought leadership created innovative programs that reflect the new selling reality of sales professionals and leaders. In 2001, Jeffrey Seeley assumed leadership of the Carew organization as Chief Executive Officer, and continues in that role today. Prior to becoming CEO, Seeley had been affiliated with Carew for over 20 years as a customer, board member and team member.

Today, the complete collection of development programs offered by Carew International is recognized internationally as the standard for sales, leadership and customer service development. The Carew curriculum provides the interpersonal and sales skills, knowledge and results-producing behaviors than enable all customer-related areas within an organization to participate in the satisfaction, retention and growth of valued customers.
